Aetha developed a detailed model of network synergies available from the merger of dtac and True, two of the main mobile network operators in Thailand. We acted as part of the post-deal clean team, working on the detailed network integration.
Our ability to build complex network models that could be iterated rapidly to consider anchor network scenarios, vendor choice and technical & financial criteria was crucial in determining the final grid and synergies to close the deal.
The project also included an assessment of the costs associated with implementing the network consolidation to achieve the synergies.
