Aetha undertook an assessment of the potential network synergies arising from the merger of Sprint and T-Mobile USA ahead of the eventual deal.
Our work primarily focused on synergies arising from combining the two Radio Access Networks (RANs) – we also considered synergies arising from core network consolidation.
We also considered alternative potential merger scenarios including between mobile operators and cable operators in the USA.
