Aetha developed a detailed sector-level dimensioning tool across more than 140k sectors to assess the capacity demand and the configurations required in the merged network.
We calculated the required network upgrades and associated cost to meet traffic demand under different scenarios and identified possible optimisation levers to ensure the resulting business plan remained within a defined capex envelope.
Our work fed straight into the PO ordering process and discussions with network vendors on how to optimise capex allocations.
