Aetha supported Telstra in assessing the impact that spectrum pooling in more regional areas (by way of a MOCN) between Telstra and TPG would have for competition clearance.
We produced a report based on a network model to show the annual network traffic growth each of the respective networks would be able to sustain (with reasonable site build) to demonstrate that the MOCN would be a significant improvement to Telstra/TPG, but not over Optus.
We developed a supplementary report in response to Optus’ submission demonstrating that the spectrum position of a Telstra/TPG MOCN would not be advantageous over Optus.
